Jung Il-Woo is a South Korean actor born in 1987. His acting debut was in 2006 with a minor role in a film called "The World of Silence" but only in 2011 his popularity started to increase after he played a leading role in a drama called "Cool Guys, Hot Ramen".

He became popular not only because of his acting skills. His visuals also attracted a lot of attention. His charismatic features, kind eyes, glowing skin, and warm smile caught the eyes of the public and he became a "Korean Sweetheart".

However, Jung Il-Woo is not my favorite celebrity only because he is a good actor but because he is also a great person and a great example of resilience and superation. While shooting a drama in 2016, Il-Woo started to feel bad migraines and after a few exams, he was diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm. At first, he felt desolated and scared. For a few months, he was so depressed that he wouldn't leave his house. But one day, he decided to do something about his life so he went on a journey to find himself. He walked the "Camino de Santiago" and returned to South Korea with a new mindset and with his bright, optimistic, calm, and kind personality.

After he discovered the aneurysm, he also took a break from his acting career and was able to find other things that he is talented at. One of those things is cooking. He discovered his passion and talent for cooking, he created a Youtube Channel and also discovered himself in sports.

In brief, I think it became clear why Jun Il-Woo is so remarkable: even facing a harsh reality, he reinvented himself and started to fully live his life.
